We traveled with children ages 8, 4 and 3, 2 parents, 2 grandparents. This museum is very hands on with interactive exhibits and games as well as a wide variety of animals on display. It is well organized with different themed rooms, a butterfly conservatory, a nature trail, outside play area and LOTS of animals on display. Both the 3... More

its a nice small place. had some nice things but was really tiny. I'm a member so didn't have to pay but if i had would have been really upset not worth what they charge for admission at all.

Lots of hands on activities for kids to explore. The kids enjoyed the butterfly garden, cool water play area, and seeing the animals. The outside play area is also a huge hit especially when the kids need to run off some energy.

See the room full of butterflies. Indoor items are limited but if a nice day, a nice walk through nature.

Took our kids (ages 3 & 6), after stumbling across it walking along trails near Freedom Park. What a neat find! It's not a huge museum, but the kids enjoyed the puppet show and the well-designed groundhog room. The animals were fun to see too - our kids were too impatient to really enjoy the butterfly exhibit. The best part... More

We have been to several nature/science museums this year, and this was probably the most disappointing. Thankfully, our membership at another museum allowed us free entrance! It was VERY small and there were not very many animals to see. We expected many butterflies in the butterfly exhibit, but we only saw 3 or 4? Perhaps if you have smaller children... More

First off the prices listed on the website for admission do not match what we were asked to pay. Second off the museum's exhibits(the handful that were actually open and not broken) were very run down and were honestly disgustingly dirty(a lot of the surfaces had this sticky tacky feel to them and were stinky). There was not even an... More

I took my boy here and he had a blast. He loved running around inside as there is a lot to do for the kids. He had fun in the play areas and being a ground hog. He then loved the turtles and the butterfly garden where there was a bunny. What I enjoyed the most was the outside area... More

Have been here couple of times and enjoy the outdoors play area and nature trail. It is simple but full of life. last time we were here (March 2016) there were a lot of flowers blooming and my 3yo enjoyed just running around and playing with sticks outside. We have a yearly pass that we bough for Discovery place and... More
