On a nice quiet weekday I took my bike down there and rode from the NoDa to Freedom Park and back. The scenery is always changing and despite being in the city, it is mostly quiet and peaceful. I started in the morning and was able to find a nice place to stop for lunch, before continuing on. They've done... More

I have ridden my bike through this greenway quite a few times now and this is a really great spot.Charlotte is adding so many greenways and this is right in the heart of it all. Eventually all the greenways will connect and it will be amazing.

This is a really enjoyable path along the creek, with lots of people on it on the weekends, and room for bikes and runners alike. With a little more clean up from recent flooding, this could be a jewel.

A nice, streamside, urban greenway for walking, jogging, running or bicycling. This section links CPCC's Central Campus to Park Road Shopping Center. Thus, there are many choices for food and drink.

A wonderful expanding Greenway which is thriving despite Charlotte's nasty developers. Currently in 3 parts, soon to be joined, is excellent for walkers, riders and runners.

What a nice surprise to find this jewel in uptown Charlotte! Very well maintained walking trail. Family friendly with beautiful art work along the way.

This is a walking/running/biking path that runs along Little Sugar Creek through parks, local streets and neighborhoods. It is all paved, clean and well kept. It's scenic, historical, sociable and fun. Along the way there are restrooms and water stops and places to eat or get a drink. I rode my bike from freedom park to the north end of... More

If you are making your way from the central area of Charlotte down to Freedom park this is a great way to get there, a pleasant walk along the creek away from traffic. The walkway is well signposted, closer to the central district there are some info boards to give a little more on the area and the creek but... More

It's not too hard to get there, you don't have to drive and park but it's possible. Honestly I wish it was longer, because it makes seeing the city easier. There is a ton of garbage in the stream which probably washes down every time it rains. It was cleaned recently because sand and mud were pushed to the sides.

We have enjoyed biking on this greenway that has lots of interesting things to see. We have also rented extra bikes for family members using B-Cycles which is very reasonably priced. Love that you can travel through Freedom Park and nice neighborhoods, as well as be along the creek and see parts of uptown.
