The website is somewhat confusing, but I would recommend the $59 pp activity pass as this will allow you to raft and zip line. If you want to raft, schedule it early in the am, so you're free the rest of the day to explore...More

I mainly visit the Whitewater Center to ride the bike trails. They have multiple trails for all skill levels. I'm a novice and I find the trails challenging but not too intimidating. The center makes for a great day trip with the family also.

We had no idea how cool this place was! White water rafting, outdoor concerts, ropes courses, mountain biking, zip lining and more! Our 11 year old son loved it so much. I wish we lived closer to attend all of the Summer events.

My recommendation would be yes. Anytime a person is exposed to rapids or even the Catawba River, being a strong swimmer is important. However, Life jackets are provided and are mandatory for all water activities.

You need water shoes. If you don't have them, I believe they rent them out (they're rubber so easily disinfected)
