I've been coming to Cherokee and the Smokey Mountain area since I was a child brought by my parents on our first family vacations and those memories of Native American handicrafts and local souvenirs and the fascination they held for me still holds true today at Saunooke Village. We stopped here after coming through the National Park and needing some... More

This is a great place to browse and shop, walk around and have a bite to eat. The shops are well-stocked, busy with leaves changing right now. The staff is helpful and I found the prices reasonable. Don't forget to go upstairs!

...this place had it going on, I can remember from childhood. I have visited many times as an adult, and will continue to do so - still hoping it revives.

The village has a few standard souvenir gift shops, fudge and an ice cream store. There is a small arcade there also along with a stand if you which to pay to ride a mechanical bull. We spent about an one hour there.

A a horseback riding trip in the morning we Stopped in Saunooke Village to stroll through the shops and explore. There were lots of stores and fun things to do here. My kids enjoyed the variety (they are older teens and young adults). My daughter wanted a pair of fur lined moccasins and found a great store that helped her... More

My husband and I stopped here and had fun browsing the shops. Next to the leather shop is a nice little coffee shop and the lady there was very sweet and made a wonderful Frappuccino. We bought a few items from her as they were very good priced and not your normal touristy items. We then went to the Mill... More

We enjoyed the shops after having eaten at the Little Princess. We bought several items feeling we got a good price on them. Nice variety of items in the various stores.

A good amount of shops to explore, and a good selection of local crafts. It is worth a stop if you are already planning a trip to Cherokee,

Interesting little shops, arcade and places to get a quick bite to eat. Very scenic and you can soak up the mountain air while you wander. It is touristy but that is not a bad thing. It is well worth the stop.
