Carrlottmomma, it seems as though you’ve given a review for the wrong Chimney Rock. We are located in North Carolina. We would appreciate it if you would correct your review.

We drove to spend the day at the State Park for my birthday. Admission is a bit pricey at $15 per adult, but it is free on your birthday. We had a great time hiking all of the trails. There are plenty of stairs, so...More

We visited during what was unfortunately (for us) probably the rainiest week of the year. Because of the weather we didn't get any of the great views possible on a clear day. Also, we couldn't take advantage of the cafe at the top of the...More

Quite a bit of hiking involved but it’s easy. The views from up top make it well worth it. There were five of us, ages 8 to 43, and we all made it to the top no problem. There’s also an elevator if you don’t...More

Visiting Chimney Rock led to the best view of Lake Lur and surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains! Wow God knows how to create beauty. It’s about a 3,000 step hike. One of the most scenic ways to get your steps in.

Beautiful park! Gorgeous views!!! You can hike to the top, take an elevator, or even a shuttle. The cafe at the top was so pretty! We loved it!!!

You won't be able to finish the trail after 3:00 PM. You may get admission to the park, then you will take a shuttle to Flag pole base. The skyline trail from flag pole to flag pole alone may take good two to two and half... More
