You'll find the Veteran's Park next to the parking area to the Airborne and Special Operations Museum. The visitor center was closed during my visit due to the hurricane the year before and the fountains were turned off. I still found the memorials and sculptures...More

Beautifully and meaningfully designed Sarte Veterans' Memorial Park. This tasteful venue is well maintained, and respectful to our State Veterans. The park and visitors center is packed with superb symbolism. Just the veterans' hands exhibit is worth seeing but there is much more. Please have...More

There is just so much to see in DC, you can't see all the memorials in one day. But be prepared to do a hole heap of walking!! I mean a lot! Bring plenty of water for you and your kids.

This is a newer Museum but if you have a chance walk on over there, covers the history of the veterans of North Carolina. And the grounds are very well kept.

This is a must, a place to honor those that have given everything. Very well done and maintained. A must for all ages.

Hubby and I stopped on our evacuation from Irma. Amazed, impressed, and emotional. It is a small beautiful and respectful park. We walked into the tail end of an Army retirement ceremony. I'm from a military family. Fayetteville should be very proud of this park!...More

All of the memorials are very impressive but the ones I liked best were the dog tags displays and the "Missing Man" table.

Military members from hundred NC Counties are honored at the Veterans Park which is on the same grounds as the museum. The interior displays are great, and provide a wonderful history of those from NC who served during various military conflicts.

The hours are for the small reception center and restrooms that are located on the grounds. You can walk through and enjoy the outside displays (95% of the park) almost anytime.
