The trail was nice and paved. I was a little disappointed to not see the river at all from the trail, but the greenery was very nice. I started from the southern end.

This trail is perfect for a hike, run, walk, stroller. Beautiful and kept well! Choice for a short stroll with shading for the hot days or 10+ miles of walking and hiking if you’re up to it.

The expansion of this trail has added very nice options to see and to exit/enter. The only drawback would be the lack of water fountains along the route, but with prior planning, caring enough water is possible. Enjoy!

To get to the park, you go through a slightly sketchy neighborhood - but, don't let that discourage you. The park is safe, staffed, and has lots of space to provide walking, hiking, playing, or just hanging out.

From the soccer complex it is downhill... which means you have to come back uphill. If you are trying to do 8 miles... start at Clark park then do the return

This was a very lovely hike. Although the entire trail felt flat, there are several smooth transitions throughout it of maybe a 5-10% increase/decrease in grade. Of moving up and then down. The scenery is beautiful, and it's close to a big field to play...More

The snakes were active and there were several. They were laying in the sun for warmth. Non aggressive but for those afraid of snakes this may not be the best trail to walk

It is a great trail, well maintained, serene and has some nice views too. If you ever need to take a walk, run or do a bike ride..it's just the place to go.

The day was crisp, the sky blue and fluffy white clouds peppered the sky. A perfect day for a leisurely trail walk in this beautiful area. You do t gave to be a seasoned biker to enjoy the area.

Most state/city parks are open from dawn to dusk. That’s a general rule. There are no street lights along the trail, so I would imagine it would be pretty dark once the sun goes down.

Lots of dogs on the trail. Bags are available there. The dogs need to be on a leash.

Now that the trail has been extended on the Clark Park end, the one way distance is 5.5 miles. That makes a complete round trip 11 miles. However, the trail is marked at least every half so you can calculate the distance... More
