Local mini golf place in south OBX. Young staff was courteous, ticket building air conditioned for some heat break. A few trees for some shade on course. The course is run down in many areas, still functional, but seems like they don’t much care to improve it. It’s the only course in this area of OBX so no competition to raise their game. Still fun, just go with low expectations. We love playing mini golf when traveling so we take it all in stride. Better courses In Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills but 45 minute drive north on Hwy 12.

We had an absolute blast doing the go carts and bumper cars. Some of the reviews stating bad stuff is overdoing it. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. All safety stuff worked fine.

Like most tourists, we stopped by the place for some afternoon fun. We rode gocarts and played putt putt. The place was run down. It was in desperate need of paint, cleaning, and some sort of pizzazz. I totally agree with other reviewers---It has a very odd vibe to it. It is literally falling apart and run down. The water in the fountains are almost black. We were run over by ants at every hole. My kids tripped constantly on the bricks lining the course. I would never go back. Sad, it could be a great place with some care.

My family and I visited this golf course on a hot day, too hot for the beach. We had a fantastic time on the course. However, do not bring small children here as the course is very difficult. I loved how difficult the course was, but most children won't. Also, I didn't like that the score cards did not have a par for each hole.

The staff however is extremely rude. This older lady who worked the counter yelled at my sister in laws boyfriend for holding the door open while others walking through. We told her people were coming in, however, she really didn't care. She then got snarky at us when we asked about where the golf balls were. She probably shouldn't be working there. Very unpleasant and seems to hate her job.

Mini-golf is one of those activities families love to do together in the evening while on vacation. So it's a bit surprising there aren't more mini-golf and ice cream places around the Hatteras area. So, we wound up at this place. For $8 a game, you can play 18 fairly boring and worn holes of mini golf surrounded by ponds, waterfalls and fountains that contain a brownish-green water that I'm hoping just contains natural tannins or something (although I doubt that's the case). You can also get devoured by mosquitoes while traversing wooden paths that desperately need attention and even sit in a run down/rotting gazebo on the pond with disturbingly dark brown water. Most of the mini golf clubs are missing their handles or the handles constantly fall to the bottom of the club shaft (see picture below). So if you are desperate to play mini golf, I guess this is your only choice. But otherwise I'd save your money and do something else.

the mini golf is very difficult even for an experienced golfer. Getting a hole in one is a miracle in itself. My daughter kept complaining about splinters in her hand from the club. I traded clubs with her and then I started getting splinters. Turns outthe shaft of the club is made of fiberglass. I complained to the girl at the front desk and she asked me if I was holding the club right. To me, you should be able to hold the club anyway you want without getting splinters. I gave her a chance to make it right and she elected not to. If your hard up and have nowhere else to go this may be the place for you. Do not expect them to care about you.

Despite the bad reviews, this place was crowded every time we went past. We got there shortly after they opened so we wouldn't have to wait long. We did the go carts. My wife and I drove and our kids (5 and 8) rode with us. They loved it. They had never been able to go cart before, because they are too young. We played mini putt too, The course is a tough one. There was a nice game too inside with arcade games that we played on the way out. As far as being run down? It seemed kept up to me, and on the OBX its probably been hit by hurricanes. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here.

The prices are ridiculous. The go-karts are for older kids and adults only. I think you have to be at least 5 feet in order to steer a kart. Some adults aren't even that tall. They really need to provide a track for younger kids. It was a huge disappointment for our son.

Did the mini golf and the go carts. Fun place to take the kids when it's not a beach day. Bathrooms were a bit gross but overall fun place to burn an hour

Timing is everything. One evening we were there and we were able to take out time through the golf course. Next night, way too many people to even think about playing.
The mini golf is fun and very different. Lots of turns and slopes. It is very nicely landscaped.
The carts were not so fun. An adult has to drive for younger kids. Not a problem except I could hardly fit. And the course has bumps which make it less enjoyable. We did not try other types of carts due to expense of the whole place.
We would go again just for the minigolf, but depends on the crowd.
