Went here based on a personal recommendation from someone that had been to quite a few NC wineries. The interaction with the staff and owners on this particular day went very well, likely because we were there at the end of the day when most were leaving, but had struck up a conversation with the owner. Had several very good... More

We have been to this winery before but its been a couple of years. We like the owner and we like the wines. Especially, the dry reds. They make a nice dry Reisling as well which is different than the sweeter ones you get elsewhere.

We went just because we were in the area. Had not planned to stay long, but once we met the owner, we ended up there for 2 hours. He was so gracious and so full of stories of how each wine was named, what type of process they used, and lots of local lore on the area. Ramcat Red is... More

Perched atop of a mountain, Dobbins Creek Vineyards has the most amazing Merlot I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. All of their wines are delicious and it was hard to narrow it down to the 10 wines we purchased. Mike, our sommelier, for the experience, was kind, informative, and excited about his job. I’d love to go back. I... More

My husband and I stumbled on this winery over 4 years ago and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of wines they produce. Even though we have our favorites, every single wine at Dobbins Creek, is very, very good. From the dry Reisling to the Cabernet Sauvignon, we haven't found a wine we don't like. We now try to go... Charles and his staff were amazing! Dobbins has the best wines that easily beat anything from Napa Valley. The views are amazing and we are always welcome to bring our own picnic lunch. You have to try his dry riesling! It is very unique and special.

My husband and I stopped at Dobbins Creek based on a recommendation from a co-worker and after a pleasant tasting we retired to the porch to enjoy a glass each and contemplate what bottles we wanted to buy. The wine was good, don't get me wrong, but what came next completely reversed our opinion of this establishment. As we were... More

This is a quaint vineyard with nice wines. The staff is most helpful and friendly, the view from the front porch is picturesque. The wines are nice but I would not rate them as excellent.

This winery didn't look like much from the outside. Inside, it was beautiful. All wood & the stone fireplace was gorgeous! The lady pouring our wine tastes was very nice and told us stories of how the wines & names of the wines came about. It was very interesting. There was a nice covered porch outside where we enjoyed a... More

Very nice wines and atmosphere. The owner did our tasting and was very informative. He was passionate about his wines which really added to the tasting. All the wines were very good, particularly the dry Reisling and the Rose. We bought a case! Only suggestion would be, if the customer buys a case, the tastings should be complimentary.

Thank Ed R
