Visited twice recently. Although it was nicer/larger than I expected this Vineyard it still missing a few things that would improve the experience. Feel. Its just missing. On approach the Facility looks like someones home, not a business, certainly not a vineyard nor tasting room. Some tables and sitting area on the approach side would help this place greatly... As... Windsor Run the sister winery told me to go to this winery and I am so glad I did. Excellent wine and friendly knowledgeable staff. I met the owner's wife and her sister, great ladies. This was my fifth winery on my own tour and over all I liked it best because of the wine and the relaxing view of... More

We always enjoy our visits to Shadow Springs. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. There are many different wines to chose from and the staff will guide you through a tasting and help you chose. There are several areas to sit inside and enjoy a glass or bottle of your favorite - like in their sun... More

Stopped here on our way to Elkin for a tasting and also did the Riedel Red Barrel Tasting the next day. It was a very wonderful time. Some excellent wines and the owner was so nice and attentive, made us feel right at home! The next day at the Red Barrel Tasting she greeted us like we were old friends!... More

Shadow springs vineyard is a lovely vineyard and winery, and we tasted many wines that we truly did like. They also allow well-behaved dogs to come into the building with the tasting bar. We thought that was really nice as we have two Boston Terriers which we really would have loved to have brought, but just... didn't, as it was... More

The owners are incredibly nice and helpful. They seem very passionate about what they do and explain their wines with great detail. I love their Midnight Run, which is a brandy-wine blend. It's not for the feeble taste buds! But my hands down favorite is French Kiss. We have ordered three cases since we first tasted it. Delicious!

Our tasting was served by the owner and we really enjoyed her. There was a nice selection of wines, we particularly liked the Petit Verdot.
