The staff are very welcoming. The self guided pamphlet is full of information on the family, house and the individual items in each room. The house has been beautifully decorated in the Victorian style.

So glad I went here. The self guided pamphlet (very well done) assisted a walk back in time. Amazing to see how many of the family's possessions were preserved for the house. Notable was the piano and the hand written letters. Go see it.

Docents were very generous with information about the house and original family, and could not have been more welcoming. Well thought out and informative brochure for self-guided tour. Love the history. Fine example of a home of this era. Did I mention it is free!!
