We visit VP quite often as a family. There's so much to do as beautiful park. We enjoy attending summer concerns, riding the train, playing at the splas pad, walking get the trail, and enjoying a picnic. Looking forward to riding the double decker carousel this summer. The staff there are awesome!

This park is very nice for family and friends to meet especially when the weather are nice. There's train ride and slide for the kids and walking trail and orchestra for adults. Sometimes there's even out movie for the kids. There's a building where they sale refreshments too. You have to see it to believe it.

This park has something for everyone. Ride the train, enjoy the splash pad, see a concert or movie, play ball, have a picnic and more. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon or day! The Christmas festivities are special during the month of December.

Just pack a lunch and an extra pair of clothes for the little ones. They will have a fun time guaranteed to be worn out and ready for a good nap or night's sleep afterwards. You will have an inexpensive outing and no planning involved! I have brought my children when they were young and now I bring theirs--and they... More

We took our 17 month old grandson to the park to enjoy a day of fun and sun. I am a big fan of trains and this one looked really nice. We took the ride an I had to laugh at his reaction, it was the ride of terror lol. I guess he didn't share the same love of trains... More

We attended a birthday party which was in shelter D. The shelters are nice and shady - which was great since it was 100 outside and the shelter was close to the playground. They did have other shelters a lot closer - which would be easier to keep an eye on your kids. The playground was well-kept, but some of... More

I spent the better part of a day at the park with my grandson. He played in the splash-park, a great place to get cool on a summer day. He absolutely loved the fountains and the dumping buckets. Afterwards, we rode the little red train all around the park. Then we settled in for some concert music. It was a... More

Village park is a nice clean park. It is not huge and that is one of the things I like the most about it. The park has activities for young and old alike. People watching is my favorite. The train is a fun ride for kids and the splash pad is good for cooling off on a hot summer day.... More

This is a great place to visit for family. Park is very clean. Picnic areas for family gatherings, birthdays, etc. The train ride is a must! The splash park is only a dollar & food is very inexpensive as well. Can't forget the Friday night movies in the park & Saturday night live music at the Pavilion.

Village park is located by the local YMCA and public library. In addition to great playgrounds, there is a splash pad and a cute little train for kids to ride. It cost $1.50 a person for the splash pad and the same cost for the train. There is a concession stand with a great variety of food, but we took... More
