I was pleased we took time to stop and visit the Wright brothers memorial. There are nice sidewalks to walk around the grounds and view the areas where the history of flight took place. The large memorial stand tall and pround above the area and...More

This is a great place to bring young children to enjoy and be educated. Nothing like visiting the actual site of the first flight. The tower memorial is cool, however the real interesting part of this park is the markers for the Wright Brother's flights....More

Be sure to attend the Ranger talk out by the hangers. SO informative and interesting to hear about the brothers and all they endured. This talk provided the backstory to what you would see and now feel as you walked the grounds.

Just an amazing area to be in. Everything is beautiful, informational, and really cool to be in the area where humans first discovered how to fly. It is pretty spread out, so be prepared to walk. Worth it though. Every step.

We loved seeing this memorial and learning about the history of flight. Be prepared to walk a lot, but the monument and the view are incredible!

Make sure they stay on the walkways as much as possible. There were little cactus all over when we were there
