A must see attraction while in the outer banks. Well done. The climb up to the monument and the view below really gives you a feel of what the wright bros were accomplishing way back when..

A very special experience, a wonderful opportunity to see the exact location of the Wright Brothers first flight, where it all began. The short hike up the great sand dune to the monument is well worth the effort, and you can see the stone marker,...More

Worth the time to come and enjoy the historic event of the first flight. The walk up the monument is nice, the views of the area from up there are gorgeous!

We would have rated it 5 stars if that remodel was done. Well organized and great signage to find everything. Really appreciated that it was done simply but with enough detail. The views from the memorial are breathtaking. Enjoyed the re-enactment statues!

Beautiful grounds and very informative about the Wright brothers and what they accomplished. Nice way to spend a few hours and learn about our American history.
