This is a small quaint park. It is geared for families with children and would be great for grandparents and grandchildren.

Family oriented, quaint and fun place to spend a couple nights. You can fish, walk on the trail, bring your bikes and ride to town, or walk. Overall it is a very well kept campground, with ample area for children to play.

We took some photos and this is an excellent place to take you young children. The train and science center would keep your toddler entertained for most of the morning and it's FREE!

We stayed in the campground which is very close to the Boiler Room Oyster Bar and Chef and the farmer where we ate. This was the reason for coming to Kinston
