My title says it all. The cave is not a cave it's a deep hole in the side of a rock. Not else much to see there.

Don't go at dawn or dusk - way too many mosquitos! Very relaxing and beautiful trails. Also has tent camping available, which I plan to try sometime.

Great place to take a hike after lunch. Go to the caves smaller than thought it would be. Still a great time to be had by the river.

I was born and raised near the cave? It is more like a small underground gully. Though the name, " Boone's" would give one the impression it is somehow connected to the frontiersman, Daniel Boone, one would have to do some deep historic research to show any proof old Daniel used the Cave to hide from the Cherokee Indians who... Great place for kids to see a cave close up. I went to hike and see cave and cabin. NO CABIN. Many walking trails and map on board but you really need one to take. They need to print some. I got lost on cottonwood trail ended near water and steep bank, I had to turn back. Lots of stairs... More

Park is small but a fun place to explore. Kids enjoyed peeking around in the cave. Next time we will take a flashlight to look around more. Scenic views, easy trails, very peaceful. Suggest having kids look up Daniel Boone prior to visit.
