The trip to the gorge is the only viewing spot for the base of Linville Falls. The view, once there is spectacular. The trip from the visitor center is 0.7 miles one way and the first part of the trip is very level and simple,...More

This place is beautiful. Views are awesome. Don't miss it A place often missed is Wisemans View. The road up to Wisemans is a little rough, but well worth the trip

Yup you definitely can but the hike down the plunge Basin is quite the challenge. It an awesome hike and definitely worth it but it's not some gentle walk down and definitely not back up.
