A fun place to snowboard. There are many first timers here, so you will not feel too bad if you are a slow learner. While it can get crowded, the staff work hard to keep folks safe and moving along. The rental equipment is abundant...More

Loves the slopes. Well maintained. Great staff! More options than just going straight down at Ober. Wish the food was a little more accommodating to their guests. I know businesses need to make money, but when it's $34 for a pretty basic meal, it makes...More

The slopes are good, I was really surprised at the amount of powered vs typical southern east coast slush and ice. However, the staff really needs to get control of the lift lines, the waits can be long and then very long when people who...More

We stayed at the A Holiday Motel that is off the main strip close to the road for Cataloochee. Older motel that has been remodeled, very clean and warm, but no hot tub on site.

Yes, both. Food was good, but lines could be long. Better to eat early -- both breakfast and lunch -- to beat the lines. Lodge area is small, but service was good!
