Amanda was a wonderful tour guide, so full of knowledge. We have visited a lot of old homes and yet learned some new things here. The furniture and other pieces are very good, some originals. We thought this was a gem.

I had never heard of this place until we were in the area and rode by. I'm so glad we decided to stop in. Our tour guide was great and full of info. So full of history!

Visited by Day Crockett and Sam Houston it is also on the NC Civil War Trails. Old quilts displayed connected with the underground railroad as well as period events and reenactments.
