This was an interesting 30 minute guided tour through the cavern. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about everything in the caverns and how they began. It is chilly so long sleeves are just a suggestion. The worse part was the constant dripping of water...More

It was an interesting 30-40 minute walk thru the caverns. You do get dripped on and there are a couple of tight spaces. I would recommend wearing sneakers and the temperature is in the 50's which was refreshing due to the heat outside.

Went here while vacationing in NC. Boring. Only 30 minutes. The guides have no personality and need not be in that sort of Business. Very unwelcoming. Bring jacket, cold and wet.

We visited the Linville Falls and Caverns while there. We’d been before we had children and thought they’d enjoy the experience. It’s interesting to see and learn about the history. Takes 35 minutes or so. Pretty inexpensive. Worth seeing if you haven’t been before. You...More

We were excited to see the cavern. We were a little disappointed since our group was about 10-15 and often couldn’t see what the guide was showing us. The guide was only doing this for a month or so, but was personable and friendly. He...More

We toured Linville Caverns while in the area and enjoyed learning the history of the discovery and use of the caves. The tour doesn’t take too long and groups can form quickly, so arrive early in peak seasons. There is an effort to stop the...More

Cool to see this geologic feature sitting in North Carolina. It happened to be on our way back to Asheville from Blowing Rock. Tours through the caverns run every 15 minutes, tour takes about half an hour.

I remember the first time I visited these caverns as a kid and your will too. A great start into what could be a lifelong interest.

We visited this cavern with two smaller children. They liked it. It isn't a long cavern and not as impressive as others we have toured. I recommend wearing shoes you don't mind getting wet and a jacket to cover yourself with periodically because the floors...More

This is the least impressive cavern among many caverns we visited. It is a small cavern, with little stalactites and stalagmites, the guide lady talked, talked talked to make the trip worth the money we paid, it is a very small short work, wished we did...More
