We did the half day trip and loved it! The guide, Sally, was awesome. She was so helpfully and informative. They provided everything, wetsuits, fleece, rain jackets and shoes. We had so much fun! I highly recommend

I would call the outfitter and ask. I will say, please note that in whitewater rafting there is some physicality involved. You are expected to paddle, not just ride. Keep that in mind. The guides at Blue Heron are great... More

We used Blue Heron Outfitters on The French Broad, They put in at a common picnic area local access, and take out at the Old Historical House on the Hill.
