Great haircuts until Floyd retired. Not sure of last date visited but been numerous times. Worth going to look at all the pictures on the wall of those who have had their haircut with Floyd.

This is such a neat place with pictures all over the walls and the original barber chair and sinks and the barber there now is very knowledgeable on Floyd.

Floyd's Barbershop is a must see if you're an Andy Griffith Fan. The original Floyd passed away but his son, a Hiatt, gave us a short history of the shop and some interesting info about it. LOTS and Lots of memorabilia! Don't miss it!

You don’t have to get a hair cut to visit Floyd’s, but they’ll be glad to do so if would like. Floyd’s lets you step in to a place that was a staple on The Andy Griffith Show and see things the way they used...More

What a gas! Quaint little shop with an entertaining owner. The owner's father was supposedly the person Floyd was based on. Lots of interesting photos on the walls. I didn't need a haircut but was treated like royalty just for stopping by. "Floyd" takes pictures...More

Great for nostalgia and tourists who are fans of The Andy Griffith Show. Hours and tourist traffic can be a little unpredictable for locals to use as a regular barber.

Great visit and had a good time meeting Bill. Keep it all the same, some things just doesn't have to change.

Cute town. Personable barbershop . Great slice of TV history. Great haircut! Good conversation with the original owners son. Definitely worth stopping to stroll through town and definitely worth a $10 haircut.

We stopped in while doing the "tourist thing". It was crowded, but everyone was friendly and chatty. Enjoyed listening to the stories and looking at all the pictures.
