Came to Oak Island last minute as original vacation plan was affected by storms. Would come back here. Quiet and relaxing water still warm some waves from storms.

We came here Labor Day weekend to chill out and relax. This island is calm; not overrun with franchises. It's local shops, restaurants and businesses. That makes it perfect for chill-axing.
