When you have a charter of 6 people, and after an hour of wreck fishing, everyone's arms are too tired or not willing to fight the strikes, THAT is a good trip. The first four baits dropped overboard resulted in (2) ~40-50lb Amberjack and an ~200lb Sand Tiger (biggest fish I ever caught). My wife refused to fight them... "Grown... More

We had an absolute great time on the Drum Stick. The captain and deckmate did all they could to get use a good variation of fishing. Could not ask for more. Just a full day of excitement and challenges of reeling in the fish....

My husband has fished with this charter four times. This was my first. I’ll preference this by saying that my comfort zone is fishing lakes and streams so I was always hesitant to make the trip to fish the Gulf Stream. We booked the boat and joined Captain Marty and Nick for a great day of fishing. Their instructions to... More

If you're an experienced fisherman who appreciates an experienced crew, this is your charter boat. Captain Farris is top notch and knows where to go. Check out their facebook site to see their daily hauls. The boat does not have a keel, so those with weak bellies need not apply.

My husband took a full day charter on The Drumstick. They had a great time catching dolphin as quickly as they could reel them in and only stopping when they maxed out! He also caught a 22 pound Wahoo! They filleted them for us at the docks and vacuum sealed them for us at the market. We are enjoying every... More

Booked a 4 person charter for 7/10/2015 - showed up and they had us stuck with a 6 person charter. Normally I wouldnt care, but in this case it made a big difference. Yes they ended up charging $100 less because of the two extra people, but I only got 2 chances to real in a fish after being out... More

This was a make-up charter of six people. The price was good with six. The Drum Stick is $1200 per day, so only $200 each. It is only 35 feet, which makes it a little tight with six. You also get bounced around more than you would on a 40-45 footer. Capt Marty and mate Nick kept working hard to... More

Had an amazing half day with Capt. Ferris and First Mate Nick. They took us right to the fish and kept us on them! Best fishing day ever for all 4 of us. Great boat. We cant wait to come back!

Went out with capt Marty and first mate Nick. Caught our limit of dolphin. Great eating after we got in. Marty and Nick was yelling at each other several times during the trip when we would run upon a school of dolphins. All the yelling showed that these guys were passionate about us catching more fish. My son-in-law and myself... More

Could not be happier with our trip on the Drumstick. Captain Marty and first mate Nick put us on the fish all day. Catches of wahoo, dolphin and amberjack. Would highly recommend this team. We hope to return soon.
