Visit in the summer when it’s warmer and the kids can go down the natural sliding rock. The falls were free but may have a small parking fee in the summer. Still beautiful in the fall.

These rocks people can slide down into a pool of water. I don’t think I would venture there, but I’m sure a younger me would! They were closed for the season, so no life guard or bathrooms. Slide at your own risk.

I had seen many pictures of Sliding Rock over the years, usually filled w people. But go there on a weekday in the fall and you have the place to yourself. Empty parking lot and no one collecting the fee. Short walk to fall area....More

My wife and two grandson (ages 7 and 10) stayed for over two hours. We slid down about a dozen times.
