The place has a great feel to it.staff are very helpful and the landlady is very welcoming.Always a good selection of real ales.

I just don't get it. What's the big deal about a giant acorn sitting in a park that caters to the homeless of Raleigh? It doesn't distribute food, clothing, shelter, medical care...nothing. It's an acorn for God's sake! Just an acorn.

The acorn is no longer in Moore Square... Moore Square looks like a dump... Nothing worth seeing here... Go a few blocks down the street to Nash Square instead.
