Lots of lotus flowers in nice gardens, combined with children's attractionpark. In that park is a small theatre where shows with animals take place. The sad "highlight" was the part where pigs are chased up a ramp, to be pushed off, into a pool of water, 3 meters below. Crowd cheering, pigs screaming. Too sad for words.

Seems it has lost it's attraction, were just mud ponds good for breeding mosquitoes. There is a local amusement park attached which seems to attract the locals, but all the ponds were empty of lotus (some had a few), I live in Sanshui, the ponds in our apartment complex has more Lotus flowers. Nothing to go to for here at... More

First of all, book tickets online. They work out substantially cheaper. Unfortunately, we visited when the lotus blooming season was ending, so we could just catch the photographs of a few last blooms scattered here and there. This was in late October. The drive is pleasant enough, as its connected to Foshan by the ring road. The park itself is... More

Not so many people there even during summer holiday & lotus season, probably because of the ticket price. The ballet show on 11pm at the hall was nice. Other shows are not professional ones. Puppet show was neither entertaining nor educating. The park is actually nice and well maintained. There is a nice Chinese pavillion inside, which is supposed to... More

We booked the tickets online. Doing so was great value for money. The park is maintained well. However, when we went, it was the fag end of the blooming season, hence, we could see only a few blooms. The place is serene and green. We caught the animal show which was very low quality. It seemed ok for the kids.... More

Had the opportunity via a chinese tourist day trip to visit Lotus World. It is a very large updated tourist attraction, they are endeavouring to attract families by way of having several hi tech entertainment shows per day in the Lotus World Hall. I found it to be a little rather over the top with no relevance what so ever... More
