Papafragas caves and beaches is nowdays closed. We went there yesterday and you are not allowed to go down to the beach or caves for a swim or pictures anymore. You can take pictures from top of the stones/mountains.

initially when you see the beach from the top it might look scary, but take with you shoes that are not flip flops, and take it slowly, and the beach below is definitely worth it. the water initially might not be super clean but if you go a bit further in the water is amazing. the other thing is, don't go very late during the day cause the tide goes up and by 8-9pm im not sure theres much beach left. but definitely worth a visit, and also walk around the place the views are gorgeous

Milos is famous for its beaches and this is one of them. Explore the caves by swimming for a nice experience.
That's like a hidden gem and there's even an enclosed pool and cliff from which you can jump.

Forget everything else, and lose yourself in a secluded piece of this planet. The ragged rocks overlooking this beach add to the experience. You have to go.

This beach was wonderful and beautiful but the water and the sand was floating with garbage, mostly plastic. We started cleaning the water and suddenly 5 people were helping us. There was too much micro plastic that we couldn’t collect, but we filled maybe 5 bags of rubbish. The sand was covered in tiny pieces of plastic and soft plastic from bags, which would be impossible to clean without proper equipment. Due to the rubbish I would not come back to this beach. I hope it will get cleaned properly for future guests.

After discussing for several minutes we decided to take a deep breath and go down from the small stairs. Not so difficult and the place definitely worth it.

So basically it's not too crowded because you have to climb down (very easy climb down).
Amazing water, starts as a sand beach, then very smooth rocks.
There is a little opening in the rocks you can swim through to enter a cave that goes to the other side of the naturally formed wall.
Simply... amazing...
One of the best beaches in the Cyclades.
A must visit.

The lansdscape is incredible, but I didn't want to go down to the beach, as the descent isn't that safe.I preferred to walk and don't regret it. The landscape is stunning and there are so many beaches easier to reach that you can choose another nearby.
