The Agnes Water and Town of 1770 Visitor Information Centre is located at 71 Springs Road (in the same building as the Library & RTC) in Agnes Water, only 800m from the centre of town. This accredited Visitor Information Centre offers a one stop shop for travel information including a wide range of maps, brochures, and itineraries. Staffed by skilled and knowledgeable local volunteers, the Agnes Water and Town of 1770 Visitor Information Centre can provide advice on things to see, things to do and where to eat both in Agnes Water/1770 in particular and in the Gladstone Region generally. Discuss your travel plans with the friendly Ambassadors or make a booking. Whilst this facility is not central (located with other government offices) it is worth a visit - plentiful leaflets - including a very good local walks leaflet - and friendly and helpful advice

Visited here yesterday and the lady at the desk was very helpful. Agnes Water / 1770 is a fairly small place so they also had information about other QLD places as well. Cute little store, very good information on activities and accomodation

The visitor centre were extremely helpful and made booking on the Larc for us. I am sure they will help with recommendations as they are locals as well.
