Well worth the short drive from Rainbow Beach. The blow is about 3 minute walk from the Nat Parks car park and has to be experienced. It’s worth walking right up the far side to get a view of the ocean and the hinterland.

ditch the flip flops and just feel this sand between your toes it is heavenly. Scenery is awesome and the colors you see reflected on the sands at sunset is special.

A natural feature of Rainbow Blow a fantastic walk through natural bush proceeds the viewing platform to Carlo Sand Blow. It is an easy walk my wife is an above knee amputee and she handled it well with a little assistance!

Huge amount of sand that’s been blown inland, surrounded by trees and bush. Pretty good photo stop too!

It was the last thing we expected on exiting the bush track from the car park. The vast area of sand was spectacular as were the views over the ocean and also inland towards the Tin Can Bay area. The weather wasn't great during our...More

It was such an unexpected sight - simply gorgeous to watch the sunset. Thought Rainbow Beach itself was wonderful, then discovered how stunning and unusual Carlo Sand Blow is. You need to have a good level of fitness though, as the blow itself is very...More
