Dive with critically endangered grey nurse sharks all year round. Other species commonly seen at this spectacular underwater formation are eagle rays, turtles, bull rays, giant Queensland groper, leopard sharks, manta rays, wobbiegong sharks and much, much more. In winter we are joined by the humpback whales for their annual migration. This is a must do dive while visiting South East Queensland.

The new owners, Alex and James, are obviously very passionate about the business and the dive site. We thoroughly enjoyed the adventurous ride out and we were ecstatic upon reaching the bottom of the mooring line. We were surrounded by sharks! Large Nurse sharks, Leopard sharks as well as Bull Rays, Eagle rays and Moray eels. We had just finished... More

It was our first dive in the sea and even though we were only open water divers, that was no problem at all. The dive staff is watching after you and after the dive you get a certification that you are a ''deep diver'' now. The dives are really awesome, we did see some different sharks and more incredible big... More

James and Alex are a great team. Very helpful organising dive and big focus on safety given 30m deep dive. Very helpful instruction. One of the best dives I have done. Visibility was incredible at around 25 metres. Amazing fish down there. Huge Rays, etc..This really is a special place. Well worth the trip to Rainbow Beach.

You won't meet anyone more passionate and knowledgeable about diving than the trio at Wolf Rock Dive. I came here to do my advanced course adventure dives, but instead got more than I could have imagined. I am in disbelief that this site is not on the map of top dive sites in the world or even Australia for that... More

When I arrived in Rainbow Beach, I asked around for info on the Wolf Rock dive and the location of the dive centre. I noticed that few people even new about the dive site, which was really surprising to me in a small town like Rainbow Beach. The dive shop is run by two young professionals, James and Alex. In... The boat trip is about 45 minutes but the dive is well worth it. James and Alex are enthusiastic, helpful, interesting and very safety aware. The dive was stunning. Not only are their the big creatures but many many small and interesting ones as well . A really enjoyable day out on and in the water.

We had a wonderful double dive in Wolf Rock. Wolf Rock Dive centre is now under the expert management of James and Alex. They bring a passion and a professionalism that made us feel confident and safe. The diving is excellent with extensive fish life as a result of being a marine sanctuary. Don't miss the chance to dive with... More

My brother and I did a double dive on Wolf Rock. We had previously dived here eight years ago with the prior owners. The new owners Alex and James bring with them many years in the dive industry and this shows through their level of professionalism and friendliness. The dive brief held at the dive shop (best place to have... More

We went diving with wolf rock and their new management. If you look apart from the fact that we did not take seasick pills before the trip, we had the perfect dive. We saw 15+ grey nurse sharks that is just amazing, plus another zebra shark and eagle rays. Have not been doing so many dives, but this was by... More

My partner, her parents and I dove with Wolf Rock Dive Centre whilst travelling this summer. Our dive experience varies, but we all agree that this was among the best two or three dives we have experienced (this includes my partner's father, a dive-master with 300+ dives). The wildlife was amazing - we saw ten or more grey nursing sharks... More
