Unlock the secrets of Burra's heritage with our unique Passport Key. Burra’s unique Heritage Passport allows the visitor access to nine locked sites, including the Monster Mine area, Redruth Gaol, the underground Unicorn Brewery cellars and the Dugouts. Free entry to Burra’s Museums during their opening hours is now included with the cost of the passport! A comprehensive guide book details 49 historic sites over an 11 km driving trail. We've recently created an exciting digital experience to accompany the Burra Heritage Passport. Enquire at the Visitor Centre. The Passport is great value for money, with discounts given for concession card holders, seniors and National Trust members. School age children (with parents) are FREE! Available seven days a week from the Burra and Goyder Visitor Information Centre.

My sister-in-law wanted to do this excursion and although I'd been to Burra a few years ago, taking up the Heritage Passport, I agreed to go with her. And in many ways I'm glad I did. Revisiting some of the sites I'd already seen was...More

This is great because it gives you access to nine different historic sites. It is very expensive at $30 per head and should be $30 per car. Also should be extended to places like the Burra Railway Station.

Many have complained about the cost $30 per adult but considering the amount of work and the great presentation of the sites on this self guided tour, my husband and I agreed we'd had value for our money. Pay your key deposit at the local...More

The passport key gives you access into buildings that you would otherwise only see the outside of. The Morphett's Engine House & the Brewery Cellars were our favourite, closely followed by Redruth Gaol & the Police Lockup. The key may cost $30 per adult but...More

Great concept but $30 per car or family would be more reasonable ! $30 per adult too steep we think !

Greatly overpriced for what is on offer.(50 dollars two seniors) some interesting sites but you would be better off using a visitors guide and arranging your own tour.

So much more to see in Burra than expected. You could really spend a full day or two exploring the historical sites. The passport is a fab and unique way to explore the area.

If in the area, this is worth taking in. For a small town it’s quite interesting to see how things once were plus the old prison which was part of the movie Breaker Morant and another site (old brewery) which had a part in Wolf...More
