The rock is awesome. Hippos yawn is also amazing. Well worth a visit. Like nothing I've ever seen before.😁

We spent several hours at Wave Rock back in May this year climbing up the escarpment and across the face if Wave Rock. The whole rock formation and surrounding area is fantastic and the view from the top is breathtaking. Highly recommend other travellers to...More

This iconic natural feature is well worth the visit. The stunning features of the rock itself when added to the features of the surrounding countryside make it a visit to remember.

We had both heard of Wave Rock before but had no idea where it was. Well the secret's out - it's at Hyden which is not particularly near ... well anywhere! But it's well worth finding a way to get there. There's a good reason...More

I didn't know what to expect when we got to the rock. It was a hot day with temperatures climbing to 36C before noon, and the desert didn't make the air any cooler, but what did was the sight of this wonder! It was all...More

An enthusiastic guide with a wealth of information made the visit really interesting. You probably could do it on your own, the Rock is very unique and draws a manageable number of visitors

I think it is. We certainly had to pay a fee (from a machine in the car park) but I think it was only $10 or $12. Definitely worth it. Lots or flies, so if you're going in a warmer season (I was there in May), be prepared!
