Well worth the drive to see it

It isn't as large as I imagined it to be, but every aussie and every visitor to this country should see this natural phenomenon. I could only say 'WOW'.

An amazing attraction that everyone should see when travelling in WA. The rock is very photogenic although everyone is keen to be captured in front of the rock doing crazy surfing gestures! Us included. It's a wow sight 💚

This an iconic landmark! A must if you're travelling through Hyden WA. Wonderful rock formation and colour changes with the light!

Hired a car from Hertz (they have after hours return) and left Perth about 9am via Mandaring. Stopped at York, WA's oldest inland town for coffee and to look at the wonderfully preserved street scape. Wonderful scenery through the wheat belt. We had packed a picnic lunch which we had on arrival at Wave Rock. Spent an hour or so... More

it's an impressive and beautiful place. I have never seen anything like it. we were lucky to be a very small group out there. We climbed on top where we could see so far. great view. Very well maintained place. we really liked it. long drive from the city - worth to plan with other activities.

Easy to access and fascinating to see. The "wave" is very high and long and the colours are spectacular. We went mid morning and it was peaceful and lovely to walk up over the rock and see the extensive views. Totally safe and very beautiful. The unusual shaped rocks were fascinating. Good place for walking and seeing the surrounding area... More

Not a far walk so easily accessible from the car park. However you have to be careful when walking on the top of the rock especially if it had been raining.

Being a resident of WA. and having been to Wave Rock I would have to say that the long trip to it and home again is not worth it. Yes when you arrive and look at it it is unusual but does not really have a WOW! factor. It is a long rock worn down but erosion. Then it is... More

This is well worth seeing albeit in such a remote area. Don't just pose in a surfing position on the rock for a photo but walk to the end and go up the steps and take in the view from the top. I don't think most people there when we visited even knew you could do this.

If you haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for. This is a must see trip. An amazing quirk of nature forming this unique rock formation, it is beautiful.
