We stoped here on our way to Lake Lure. There was a $5 per person fee - well worth it! The Park Ranger was very friendly and the bathroom facilities were very clean (no smell in a composting bathroom!!!) Even though it was a rainy day, we still got some great pictures!

Loved it! Not a paved walk way. Stones and Tree roots but worth the walk. Benches along the way to rest. Picnic tables for snack time or lunch.

Pearson's Falls is a well-known local attraction, but doesn't get a lot of attention from outsiders. Nice hike to the falls.

A brief easy quarter miles hike takes you from the parking lot to the base of the falls over a nice rock pathway carefully tended by the Tryon Garden club which owns the facility and maintains it. There is a $5 per person admission charge, something not typically found at waterfalls. While falls are attractive, the view was somewhat disappointing... More

We visited Pearson's Fall one cold morning. We were the first visitors of the day. There is a small entrance fee, but it is worth it. Adults are $5 and kids 6-12 are $1, 5 and under are free. This is a family owned property. There are restrooms with composting toilets. No smell! The bathrooms were very clean. The 1/4... More

Worth the $5pp admission. Keep an eye out for jutting rocks/roots. Easy hike. Visited late Sept when it was lush green and Nov, late fall...both were stunning.

I love this hike. I've hiked it several times. It's short enough and not terribly difficult. The waterfall is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this place!

A special spot and a nice trip with small children. An easy, short, pretty hike with a huge payoff at end. We brought a picnic on a pleasant fall day.
