Well-kept grounds and I ways check the bathrooms! The food catering facilities were well organized Even the seating area was being cleaned up during the game!

Outstanding venue for baseball; the volunteer staff couldn't do more to make it that way. Hard workers(ground crew) and others. Comfortable seating under cover and out of the sun.

This is a beautiful stadium and the home of the American Legion World Series. It is a wonderful place for young folks to have the opportunity to play a game of baseball and a great place for fans to watch their favorite players.

This is Americana at it's finest! This high school field has been the permanent host of the American Legion World Series (baseball) for about 6 years, and has been upgraded for the players and the patrons every year (with no end in sight!). ESPN adds more live broadcasts of the games every year, and with sellout crowds (8000+) every game (15 games in 8 days) it's an event for baseball fans that is not to be missed. Bucket list item! The field is top notch, and the food vendors highlight food from the South. The military is omnipresent with displays and equipment, and the respect level from everyone who shows up is tangible. Just go. You'll want to return again and again!

Can't believe we have this nice of a stadium at Shelby High School! Definitely proud to show pictures of to friends and family who do not live by or never had a chance to visit. If ever in NC the week of the American Legion World Series it is definitely worth coming. I am not a big fan of watching baseball but knowing these guys playing are non paid and trying to prove themselves in so many ways is Great.

Our American Legion team was there playing in the World Series. The field was awesome. Playing surface was perfect. The stands had covered areas for shade and plenty of restrooms.
