We're going to be in Shelby visiting a relative this weekend. I saw this online and thought it would be interesting to visit. Then I read that it is only open Monday to Friday. I'm a bit disappointed.

Anyone who has a family member associated with a power company will find this place very fascinating. There are all types of antique equipment on display, a special spot for children and a memorial walkway that you can purchase personalized bricks to be placed. The people that run the place have been so friendly. We've been twice now. There is also a place where your family member can be recognized in the lineman hall of fame. If you have a lineman in your family you know they are all about all things lineman. Hope you enjoy this as much as we do!
