I am very sorry, but I think you have us confused with a restaurant. Perhaps you went to a restaurant in Southern Pines?
Weymouth Center was the home of James Boyd the writer of Drums. This is a beautiful historic home on beautiful grounds with gardens.

Stopped in for a hike back to the Weymouth Woods and walked around the gardens. This would be a great place for a formal event. My only complaint was the poor signage to find the trails.
We visited the Weymouth during a recent visit to Southern Pines. Beautiful gardens and a lovely day! Easy access to the gardens and the hiking area. Great place to take the grandchildren!
Came to the Weymouth Center for the Party for the Pine. Great event on beautiful grounds. Enjoyed the hike to the old tree. Next time will bring the pups.

We attended a Celtic Christmas event at Weymouth and then a tour of the house and grounds. The Center provides a working place for local writers, and a nice getaway for someone looking for something different to do.
