Attended Sunday morning service. Beautiful, historic church. Lovely inside and out. Service was enjoyable. Site of the Cecil B. DeMille family graves. Be sure to get an information pamphlet at the box near the front door to take a self tour of the grounds and cemetery.

The garden and cemetery are well-maintained and absolutely gorgeous. Plus, some of the gravestones have interesting carvings and ghost stories behind them. Contact the Brown Library for more details.

This is a very old church which has been well maintained! Grave sites, two chapels and wonderful large oak trees! The service is also very nice. The wood work is beautiful!

It is an interesting church with lots of history behind it. There is alot of southern history in this area , the children take an interest in the fact that BlackBeard the famous Pirate spent time in this area.

Located down the block from the NC Historic Site in Bath, this historic brick church is open during the day for visitors. We enjoyed walking the level grounds, viewing a stone bust mounted on balast rocks, and the angel and cherub grave markers. The inviting sanctuary allowed us to have a few moments of quiet reflection and prayer during our... More

Much of the past history of Washington can be seen in the burying ground. There are some surprises there. For instance, members of the deMille family, of Hollywood fame are interred there! The old church is lovely inside, and a classic example of an old-style Episcopal church.
