The gentleman who directed the horse drawn carriage through the streets was both knowledgeable and fun. The trip takes about 20 minutes and is well worth the ride whether it is your first visit to Wilmington or you have been many times.

Ghost crawl was fun! Enjoyed the horse & trolley rides. Go to the Cemetary. See Friday night bands downtown during summer.

Surprisingly good. One of the largest historic districts in the region. Could get a detailed self walk tour, but we took the easy option and went on a trolley tour. So much history and this was an easy way to get an overview. You then...More

Who would not love this charming seaport city, bustling with activity yet steeped in history? The brick cobbled stone streets here are so quaint and it takes you back in time yet the city has a metropolitan feel at the same time!

I had no idea of the development of the port of Wilmington, the city or its importance in the development in the commerce of the south. It is obvious that the city is very proud of its history and you can learn much of this...More

We visited Wilmington and we didn't want to miss its historic district. We found many amazing old mansions with their history explained in signs outside, and beautifully decorated for the 4th of July. It is worth a visit!

It has some amazing buildings and things to do around town. Lots of history. However, at night along N Front St and other areas on a Friday night gets pretty interesting. Such a blend of different people. Lots of drinking and lots of people. Seen...More

We did not book carriage ride or meals in advance, but don't about the summer months. Park at the parking garage. Think there is only one public parking garage in the historic district.

I believe the tour was $15 per person and the guide that drove did a wonderful job explaining all the highlights of the historic district.
