What a great educational tour plus my husband was reading a book about a battle the ship was in and it made it extra special to him. We had a group of 8 with ages of 6-84 years old and everyone loved the tour!

We visited this since we heard it was something we had to do being in Wilmington. I am glad we did. It was an awesome sight to see and to understand what it was like on a ship during that time. From the deck to the bottom was an exciting journey. I will say there are a ton of ladder... More

This was our second time visiting. It's a true journey through history. So much of the battleship is accessible you can truly feel the history and excitement as you travel through the ship. Although we didn't have our kids with us this is must see for families!!!!

Had an excellent experience for the whole extended family! Love that it was self guided as we could choose our pace and easy to follow the tour of the multiple decks.

Overall this was a fun family outing. Yesterday was a special Christmas event and while we didn't have time to check all of the Christmas-themed activities out, it was a nice free add on for the kids. There are staff around to answer questions and a very large portion of the ship was fairly accessible. All in all if this... More

One can only think of the men who lived and died on the North Carolina during battle. It had to have been a terrifying time in the lives of young men who were members of the Greatest Generation.

Super cool monument! Just loved it. Much technology to be seen. I want to go back. Reserve a few hours to fully explore it.

Visited here with my nephew. Self guided tour takes you all over the ship and there are posters, signs, pictures and more explaining how the ship worked. You see the dining hall, laundry room, showers, sleeping quarters and bridge (pretty much everything is open for you to see). You actually climb up and down the ladders and have to step... More
