If you're looking for a nice course with reasonable rates, this is a good course. Tree lined fairways but generous in size. The course was in great shape from Tee to green. This is a city run public course. A friendly , helpful staff. The course is playable for all levels of golfers. No hidden hazards or forced carry making... More

This is a very nice course with a fairly straight, what you see is what you get front nine. The back nine plays a little longer with slightly narrower fairways and a couple of easy doglegs. The trees offer some nice shade and wind is not an issue except on hot days when they block the breeze. The deer were... More

This is a public course that was in fantastic shape. Staff very friendly. Very busy so make a tee time. However I played on a Friday night and I had the course to myself. No need for a cart. The course is flat and carts are cart path only, unless a person has trouble walking and then they will be designated... More

This is a city-owned golf course that was developed a number of decades back, and has that old-style golf course feel to it. It is along the flood plain of the Missour River on the southwest side of Bismarck, tucked in amongst some really incredibly beautiful trees. This is good and bad, because most are cottonwoods, and when they cover... More

We had a nice golf experience. People were nice, course was well kept and it was evenly paced. I loved it.

This is a challenging public course, the fairways are lined with trees so keep it straight. The fairways and greens are in really good shape this year. The course has bounced back nicely from the flood. A really good course for the price you have to pay.

We golfed this course on a cool, wet day and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The fairways and greens are in great shape since they have had quite a bit of moisture lately. The course was really quiet, we went the first Monday in June. We rented a cart since it was raining a bit on and off and we wanted the... More

We golfed the Riverwood Course in early August, 2013 as part of a 5 day golf trip with 3 other couples. We were impressed with the recovery the course has made after the flooding. The tees, fairways and greens were all in very nice condition. We were aware of the 90 degree cart path rule before we teed off and... More

The cart path only rule is bad (walk if you must play this course). It makes it even more difficult to find your ball because the grass is extremely long and thick, even on the fairways. Lost several balls because I could not follow the line of ball with the cart and had to guess where it was in the... More
