We have been several times over the past 10 years and our trip in May 2016 was wonderful because the update to the building and the exhibition were marvelous. The center is a must see if you are anywhere near the state. It is a top quality display of history and the interactive displays are entertaining and informative.

I was visiting to get information on ND and my ancestors. The museum was quite extensive and interesting - variety of displays. Everyone we cam in contact with was friendly and helpful - particularly the reference librarian.

The new Heritage Center is a beautifully designed building with wonderful exhibits that tell the history of our state from the age of dinosaurs, Custer and the Seventh Cavalry, the building of the railroad, Teddy Roosevelt and the history of Medora! I have gone there several times and love it each time!

Several families with young children enjoying the interactive exhibits. Everything is spaced out strategically and there is so much history to take in. I am not from ND,... More
