This is the second time I have stopped here. There are nice churches to shoot, a barn or two and lots of rusted farm machinery and a few vintage cars. Best time to shoot is early morning or late in the day.

Went camping with family and friends. Good amenities, great sites and friendly staff. Only reservation is the water when swimming in the dammed lake; it can be a little green and less than ideal. Rinse after swimming to get ahead of any rashes.

Beautiful campground with clean, hot showers and helpful staff. Hikes of varying distances. Fairly accessible. Geocaches. Interesting museum.

August the Deuce - Icelandic Celebration is in Mountain, ND. Icelandic State Park is just a 15 minute drive north and east of Mountain. If you need more information please call the park.
