On a trip from Montana to the Ryder Cup golf matches in Minnesota we stopped for a round of golf at Fargo's municipal course. This marvelous facility rivals many a private country club. The staff in the pro shop, the bar and on the course were exceptional. The course is in such great shape and its inherent beauty made for... More

Decided to play Edgewood at 10 a.m. on a Friday, was able to get a tee time for 1p.m. Course was easy to find, not far from downtown Fargo, NDSU and West Fargo. Pro shop had a good selection of men's and women's vests, jackets, shirts and golf equipment. Reasonable green fees, in line with municipal courses. The Red River... More

A lush and quiet paradise ready for golfers of every ability. Better than average fairways and nice surroundings. Away from houses and noise, the course is both challenging and relaxing. A very good price point as well. The greens were a bit rough but show signs of improvement.

Well-conditioned except for some flood damage near the river. Easy to walk and nice to have some shade from the trees, unlike most local courses out on the prairie. Won't find a lot of serious trouble unless you're pretty wild off the tee. Easy to find the trees, but generally you can find it and have some sort of shot.... More

Nice layout along the River. Well maintained, lots of scenic holes, easy to walk. Opened early for a 6:30 tee off time.

I always end up playing here for a tournament. I love playing the wooded river courses as they pose more of a challenge with the trees and bending fairways. Great place for an afternoon round!

it is a decent enough course for the money, don't expect a high end course. It wasn't too crowded and was out of the way enough it was quiet.

North Dakota is not known for rolling hills. Edgewood Golf Course which runs along the Red River does have a few holes with some elevations and with its mature trees a beautiful setting. Along with a driving range there's a new pro shop and restaurant worth allowing some time for.

Our bucket list is to play golf in every state. We chose Edgewood based on our route home from Minnesota. We were very pleased. The course presented challenges and was beautiful. Very well maintained as well. We will add this course to our "plan to return again" list. The weather was outstanding and I hope to return during summer months... More

A scenic old golf course that is the best public golf course in the metro area. Scenic and challenging. Course is kept in excellent shape. A variety of challenging holes with great layouts that provide for an interesting round. Lots of magestic trees and the course requires strategy to get your best score.
