The legendary baseball player and Fargo's hometown hero is honored with a 72-foot long glassed-in exhibit at the West Acres Shopping Mall, tracing all aspects of his career, including major awards, uniforms and some of the home run balls from 1961, the year he broke Babe Ruth's record with 61 home runs.

Yes it's in the mall, yes, it's free. Great display and sitting in the original seat watch the documentary was so great. I read that the reason it in the mall is. Ecause, Roger didn't want people to have to pay to see it. Kudos...More

Lots of history packed into a small space in a mall in Fargo ND! Sit in the video room and watch history, you won't be disappointed.

It's a free collection of memorabilia in a mall. It's not really a museum. If you're in Fargo and have some time, it's OK to stop by, but don't base a trip around it.

Stepping into the Roger Maria museum is a step back in time approximately 50 years ago, when the Yankees were royalty and Roger Maria was the King. Great memorabilia about baseball's single season home run king, a record that stood for many years. maris was...More

This is a great place it is located in our mall so it's easy and convenient to get to. All are able to enjoy since there is no admission fee. There is a video that tells his life story.

As a childhood fan of Maris' 61 in 61, I am anxious that business finally brings me to Fargo. I am excited to see the museum. My son asked me to "bring me a T-shirt," so I am asking does the museum sell souvenirs, and/or Maris T-shirts? It seems quite small. Thanks.

We didn't see any souvenirs for sale, which is a shame. This is a great tribute to Maris - especially the film - but the museum deserves a larger space and a little souvenir shop.
