I'm not sure why this is called a Japanese park as there's only a small section toward the back with a few Japanese looking decorations. Otherwise it's just a regular neighborhood park. It's a nice park with some walking paths and a large playground, I just don't know why it's called a Japanese park.

This park is a hidden gem in Grand Forks. a very nice playground with better than usual features for young ones. The japanese gardens are very nice for this area, large rocks and a lovely pond with ducks at times. 2 bridges and winding well maintained paths which are fine for wheel chairs as well. Stepping stones over water to... More

Had a bit of difficulty finding the location due to lack of signage. The grounds provide a pleasant, calm atmosphere for a short stroll but there really isn't much to see in the way of "gardens". There is a play structure area for children. Nice for a quick stroll but that's about it.

This garden is a great place to get your steps in. It's quiet and peaceful and offers paved trails to walk around in. The park is great for little kids and even has a nice area for a picnic.

A couple stone pagoda style monuments and a couple boulders and a pond do not make a Japanese Garden. The pond is algae clogged and bad smelling

Always try make it to Sertoma Park Japanese Gardens when we travel to GF, weather permitting. Beautiful, spacious, and un-crowded. Great playground for kids. Paved walking trails. Small parking lot, but plenty of free parking available on adjoining streets. Nice break from shopping!

Great place to get away from things. Relax, walk around or bring your family or friends for whatever. Well maintained and easy to get to. There is a playground for the little ones, a shelter and restrooms. Located near Ray Richards golf course. Smaller parking lot, but you can park on the north side it appears on the street. I... Great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, while not having to go far. My daughter loves to run around and look at all the different wildlife. We have seen baby snakes, bunnies, and frogs just to name a few. Would also make a wonderful spot to meditate or do yoga.

We did not go to the Japanese Gardens part of the park, but went to Sertoma Park (same park). They have wonderful, well maintained playground equipment there for kids of a variety of ages! Our 1 year old and 4 year old were both equally entertained. I would definitely go again!
