A small piece of Japan transplanted to North Dakota. Plants and rocks indigenous to the region in combination with three unique Japanese stone lanterns provide a peaceful spot for quiet meditation.

There are nice paved walking paths here, but not much else. Not worth going out of your way to visit. There is a playground for children, and several dirty ponds with two cement Japanese lanterns. If I were looking for a nearby place to walk,...More

This wonderful little Japanese park in Grand Forks is the result of reaching out across the Pacific to a little Japanese town called Awano, Japan. Awano became a sister city to Grand Forks and as a result, there have been many Homestay exchanges between Jr....More

I'm not sure why this is called a Japanese park as there's only a small section toward the back with a few Japanese looking decorations. Otherwise it's just a regular neighborhood park. It's a nice park with some walking paths and a large playground, I...More

Had a bit of difficulty finding the location due to lack of signage. The grounds provide a pleasant, calm atmosphere for a short stroll but there really isn't much to see in the way of "gardens". There is a play structure area for children. Nice...More

This garden is a great place to get your steps in. It's quiet and peaceful and offers paved trails to walk around in. The park is great for little kids and even has a nice area for a picnic.

A couple stone pagoda style monuments and a couple boulders and a pond do not make a Japanese Garden. The pond is algae clogged and bad smelling

Always try make it to Sertoma Park Japanese Gardens when we travel to GF, weather permitting. Beautiful, spacious, and un-crowded. Great playground for kids. Paved walking trails. Small parking lot, but plenty of free parking available on adjoining streets. Nice break from shopping!
