This zoo is top notch! We will drive an hour and a half from Bismarck to visit. Roosevelt Park Zoo has so many more animals than Bismarck Zoo does and it is exceptionally clean. The atmosphere is filled with exotic trees, flowers and natural decor....More

The zoo itself is much smaller than I'm use to. I grew up in Fort Worth and the animals there have much more room to roam and live in a more natural habitat setting

We liked this zoo overall, but felt bad for some of the animals (i.e., the big cats) who seemed to be in very small cages. The birds as well were in smaller enclosures and didn't seem to be able to fly very far.

It's quite amazing the quality of this zoo in such a small community. It is worth your while to take a few hours out of your day to see it. Otter and penguin exhibits were my favorite

it really is a fun "zoo" compact and a delight with young children. The little train ride was fun and feeding the giraffe was a highlight
