We went on this hike to catch the high rapid tide. We were told incorrect info that you can do this trail with small children and a stroller....no way can you do this! I am in good shape and I had a hard time navigating...More

you need to visit these rapids when it is high tide , the waves are immense and watching some stunt kayakers in the waves was amazing entertainment, their skill was stunning. Its a beautiful easy walk on good paths to the falls.

Great hike and the tides are fascinating. Lots of roots and rocks, so wear good shoes/boots. Visited both viewpoints and got different views from each. Check tide times before you leave.

A very nice trail takes you to the Narrows. Well laid out and very scenic. Did this with a walking cast on (wouldn't recommend that but I did it anyways!). The Narrows themselves were neat - but after seeing the Bay of Fundy, well.....

Plan on an hour hike/walk each way, at least 30 min at Narrows, and time to drop in at Cafe on return. The trail starts out deceptively groomed but later features roots and rocks - could be slippery after rain and visitors in flip-flops were...More

We made a nice hike to the skookumchuck narrows. It was about 4 km each way. The view at the narrow was nice, the hike was maybe just as good.

This is a pretty doable hike for the average hiker with a bit of a challenge in one stretch. It is well worth checking out both view points at the end of the trail. It is important to watch your steps. At one point on...More

Having been to quite a number of the parks now I can say that this was not my favourite, only because it was a long, hot walk to the Narrows and I ended up tripping up over a couple of the larger tree roots +...More

We enjoyed the hike and the views along the way and it was fun to watch the kayakers navigate the rapids at the end. A very fun day in the forest and by the sea!

I was there about 2 hours before max high tide and the standing wave had already formed at the right hand view point and people were surfing it in kayaks, so it's definitely good to watch any time from -2 to +2 hours of high... More

No benches but lots of big rocks, logs and soft moss to sit on. We had a small backpack with us and took a piece of foam to sit on. We brought our lunch and ate it at the rapids which gave us a good rest before heading back... More

There is no camping there but Egmont is close by as is Klein Lake where my husband and daughter usually camp.
