Quiet hill and when the snow shows up can be fantastic. However, be sure to wear dark or black clothing on milder days because the chairlift drips grease on your coat unexpectedly! Some chairs will be fine but if moisture builds up the metal terminals can drop at any time and this black liquid will not come out in a... More

This is a great place for first time skiers to experts looking for a little pow. We've taken school groups to Hudson Bay as well as personal trips and always have a great time. It's a small hill but they do a lot to satisfy all skiers and boarders. The lodge is great for the casual diners/watchers to some Apres... More

It was our first time going to Hudson Bay mountain and it did not fail to impress us! The lineups were short and the hill was excellent. We could only imagine how much better it would have been on a powder day!

The mountain offers runs for all ages and abilities. There are two t-bars and one chairlift. The restaurant has excellent food with a wide variety of choices. The lounge is the place to be apres ski. There are no overnight accommodations however some owners do rent out their cabins. The downtown drive is about 25 minutes with many motels/hotels to... More

I visited Smithers while on a business trip. In some down time, my colleagues and I decided to go skiing at Hudson Bay. The lifts/T-Bars are a bit slow and cumbersome but the view from the top is stunning. The terrain is rated for all types of skiers and the snow quality was fabulous. Food in the lodge was reasonably... More

Snow conditions were great, we hit this place on a nice snow day. Terrain has great fall line. The bar is fun and the people in it were super friendly.

Great place for all skiers from casual to experts. I enjoyed myself and as a group we love going back and exploring which of our group can ski where and have a great time. The runs are nice and long and always groomed. definitely going back for more.

Smithers is worth the add to your places to ski list... Try a nearby cat operation for a day, hit the Hankin Evelyn backcountry - and a couple days on Hudson Bay Mountain!
