Having lived in Australia for several years, I went on this tour hoping to see more orcas than humpbacks (as we see them in oz) and this tour did not disappoint! Very soon after we left the port we saw a group of three, then further out we saw a much larger group and they swam all around the boat.... More

Whale watching is, well, whale watching. What makes the difference is the attitude and the knowledge of the crew. "Captain Wayne" has been doing this for 20 years (after a career in the RCMP) and he knows every bay and inlet in the area. And that's the key. If the whales aren't obliging and aren't in the obvious location, he... More

This was no doubt the highlight of our Canadian trip. I am disabled and dependent on a wheelchair to get places. We had contacted Stubbs, they confirmed I could get on the boat, so we booked. The staff were very helpful getting me on and off, and very attentive during the trip. And what a trip it was. We all... More

We left Telegraph Cove around 9:00 a.m. in the boat called Lukwa, with approximately 30 tourists and headed south down the Strait. The weather was sunny and warm, and the seas were very calm. Captain Wayne and the crew were very friendly and made the trip very enjoyable, due to their professionalism, enthusiasm, experience and detailed knowledgeable. Captain Wayne provided... More

This trip was just brilliant from start to finish. We saw a pod of orcas swim by before we had even got on the boat! We saw a huge amount of wildlife, from different orcas (fish and mammal eating ones), porpoises, dolphins, to humpbacked whales, seals and sealions. The staff were so respectful of the animals, staying back and letting... More

Had a whale-watching trip with Stubbs in September 2016. It was one of their last trips tracking the resident pod of Orcas, which appeared to be heading out the area at the end of the summer season. Lovely boat and good interaction with the guides/crew. Saw a humpback whale on the return journey.

Amazing whale watching trip seeing bald eagles, humpback whales, seals, sea lions, and dolphins. My brother and I had a wonderful time on this excursion. Our captain Wayne, with his great enthusiasm, and our marine biologist Jackie, with her vast knowledge, made it most memorable. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking forward to having a... More

Gob-smackingingly great tour. Captain and crew were great. We saw orcas, humpbacks, porpoises, and seals. Learned a lot. Boat is comfortable. Captain's PA was great - very clear - gave us head's up about where to look. Highlight of our trip!
